Part 1 - The Love Gets Nuked
Nick and Greg are in the locker room before their shift starts.
Nick: So, Greggo, how'd your court appearance go yesterday?
Greg: Not too bad. The defense attorney really tried to discredit me, but he didn't.
Nick: Well, that would be hard to do. I can't think of anything he could find wrong with you...I mean with what you did. You're a great CSI.
Greg: *blushes* Thanks, Nicky. That means a lot coming from you.
Grissom (entering the locker room): Hey you guys, I know shift hasn't started but I need the both of you to meet Brass over at the Montecito Hotel A.S.A.P., for a 419.
Nick: Sure thing boss.
Nick and Greg gathered their things and headed off to the parking lot. They got into Nick's car and headed to the hotel.
Nick: Funny how it's been you and me working together lately, huh?
Greg: Well, I wouldn't call it funny. Although I do enjoy working with you. ;)
Nick: It's not that I don't like working with you, I really do, I just wonder why we make such a good team. I think we work well together, so I want us to keep working together. You know, cause we work well...together...
Greg: Ok. I believe you. Are you alright Stokes? Did you drink some of Hodges coffee or something?
Nick: *laughs* No, I'm fine. *breathing deeply*
Nick and Greg pull into the Montecito and head inside.
Brass: Hey Nicky. Hey Greggo. You two working together again. The dynamic duo. *chuckles* Well our vic is up on the 6th floor. A 25 yr. old Winston Johnson. The maid found him. *gets on elevator with Nick and Greggo and head up to the room.*
Nick: Yup, us again. *smiles* Do we know the COD?
Brass: Not yet. Hopefully, David can tell you something. He got here right before you two arrived.
